Hi Steemit! Gabriel Magalhães from Brazil
Well, my name is Gabriel Magalhães and I'm 18 years old. I live in Brazil and I'm studying buildings at CEFET-MG (Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais). In the first two years of high school, I earned two medals at OBMEP (Olimpíada Brasileira de Matemática de Escolas Publicas), I won a silver medal in 2016 and I won a gold one in 2017. I really like technology, computers, books, English, video games, math, astronomy, physics, sports and a thousands other things. I want to study computer science abroad so I'm studying hard for it. I intend to take the TOEFL and SAT tests at the end of this year, as they are necessary tests to apply for american universities.
Why am I here?
Foremost, I have liked Bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies since I discovered them. I think cryptocurrencies are the future of the whole world. With them, you are able to make payments more easier, faster and safer than usual ways. Blockchain is amazing, there are many advantages in using it. Steemit, which is a blockchain social network like Reddit, pays both the content creators when their posts are liked and the people who like them. As you can see, Steemit is quite innovative, and that's why I'm here.
What I want to post
I want to post things about everything that I like. For example: Science, English tips, challenges, life stories, some advice and etc. If you want me to post something else, you can comment and I will think about it.

You're welcome. A lot of self-taught web developers and coders says it's good. If you pay $90, they will give you a certificate and I think you can also use it as college credit for university.
