Introduction of a financial economist
My name is Lukas. I am an economist-mathematician working in finance industry. However, I am not a typical boring mathematician; I also have a lot of down to earth interests like hiking, cycling, yachting, natural bodybuilding and nature.
I am passionate about traveling and exploring new places. I love visiting foreign countries especially in Eastern Europe, learning about their culture, mentality of people, their customs, the way they see the world. I also love learning foreign languages. In my opinion every nation has its own spirit that has been formed through a common historical experience of individuals and I think that one can never really capture and understand that spirit unless one learns the language. I speak Czech, Russian, German, Polish, Slovak and some Spanish.
I also like Russia literature and classical philosophy.
I will be blogging especially about financial topics, my hiking experiences and also about fitness and bodybuilding.

Willkommen :) Woher kommst du?
Hast du über die Schlacht bei Austerlitz(die Dreikaiserschlacht) gehört? Es ist die bekannteste Schlacht der Napoleonischen Kriege und der wichtigste Sieg für Napoleon. Also ich komme aus einem Dorf, das dirket im Schlachtfeld liegt (also Südmähren - Tschechien). Übrigens in Paris wurde Der Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile 1806 zum Gedenken an der Sieg erbaut. Man sieht dort den Namen Austerlitz.
