My Love for Music: Thanks to the woman who introduced to me the real meaning of "passion"

I am a teenager who really loves music since I was a kid. Because of this, I learned the proper ways of singing by attending voice lessons last April-May 2016. Unfortunately, my intentions were not good during those times which led me to nothing but wasting money for the payments made in every session. With that, I wasn't able to use/apply the things I've learned about singing; about Understanding Music.

As years passed by, I decided to focus on singing and develop my skills. During these times, I often remember one of my childhood dreams, which is to be a professional singer and a superstar. I wanted to be praised because of my singing voice. I wanted people to know me because of my singing voice. I wanted a big round of applause, still because of my singing voice. These were one of the reasons why I persevered to be a good singer.

So I often watched videos with singing tips. I've tried applying those tips but I still can't sing well. Yes, I can hit notes but the proper positions of your body as a singer will help you to sing smoothly. I was disappointed to myself and even lost hope that I can be a good singer in the future. I felt that I could not wait enough for that time. Then I stopped practicing but I continued to watch videos about proper ways of singing. I also watched videos of the Paramore band whose vocalist is my inspiration in singing. Her name is Hayley Williams I watched her head bangs and her singing techniques. I observed her personality as a singer, even her personality behind the stage. I loved how she handles the crowd and how she shows her passion in singing. I loved the way she interprets their songs. I loved how she slays on the stage. I loved everything about her passion in singing. I could see that she doesn't need a big round of applause for her performance wherein fact she always gains an enormous round of applause everytime she sings. She makes the people happy with her love for music. She can make the people sing with her without telling them. At first, I did not know the reason behind her fame. By always watching their videos, I slowly realized that it is her love for music and passion for singing that made her famous, not herself alone. Well, I can see that her fame is not a thing to her as long as she can express her thoughts and love for music through singing.

Along the way, I barely noticed that I'm slowly going back to singing. Not with the ways that I did before and definitely not by the reasons that I wanted before. I don't aim to be given a round of applause anymore. As I watch some singing video tips, I open my heart and mind to learn it. For the past months, everytime I'm invited to sing, I do it with passion. I interpret the songs with emotions by understanding the meaning of the lyrics. Then I noticed where my passion went. It hit the people's feelings and they loved the way I sing. They want me to continue sharing my feelings through singing. Some of them told me that I suddenly became their inspiration in singing. I WAS AMAZED! I never thought that I could touch people's hearts and be part of their lives through my love for music.

I don't know how thankful I am to Hayley Williams, I know that I'm not the only one who made her as an inspiration in singing. But she is the reason behind my satisfaction for my singing abilities these days. She put me to where I am now in sharing my love for music. Well, nothing can stop me now in showing and sharing my passion in singing. Thanks to Hayley! I love you!
