Stuck On A Rock<3

Aloha Steemit fam!

Lobster red, burnt, tourist are jostled by waves in a tin can boat, as lava violently spews into the ocean forming the rock that I currently call home.

Have you ever witnessed earth being created? Well me neither because I was a procrastinating asshole and I missed my chance to jump on my friends lava tour boat. BUT this would have been what my pictures would have looked like if I did though.

Actually, even though I lavishly identify at convenient egocentric times as a sailor and a lifeguard, and believe I can handle the sea, I have nightmares that I would be the one asshole blowing chunks over the side. Probably another reason why I failed at jumping on the chance of a lifetime to see this amazingness up close.

There was also that time my cousin and her husband, who are geologist, traveled all the way from Scotland to visit. After hiking 7 miles around the crater in Volcano National Park they decided in their deranged, overly fit, childless, 20 something state that it would be a great idea to bike for 2 hours out to see the lava dumping into the ocean at 10PM!!! Hmmm????

Proudly my procrastinating, under eye circled, 30 something butt decided I would wait in the car and contribute to the lactic acid forming in my ass and drink. Trust me it was a win win.

So here I am. Stuck on this sweet ass rock. As stuck as Pepe La Pew is to Penelope Pussycat.

There's not many of us die hard romantics left on earth, so I shall continue to saunter around with a rose between my teeth ignoring the fact that we are a dying breed.

But I digress. Nice to meet you Steemit!
