Could anyone explain the new SMT to me ? (Smart media tokens)
/I've red about it, tried to understand it, but i'm just too overwhelmed. Could someone explain it in a more simpler way ? I do own a website and it seems smt could help me in the future. Didn't know where to ask and I really want to know more about smt as this seems big.

Hi @kromm, the SMTs are essentially like any other ICO, but rather than using Ethereum as the base currency, they'll be based on STEEM.

All in all it should be great for Steem as a currency and it's value on the market!
