Yay just checked it! :D It's pleasure to see more and more experienced artists join Steemit! I hope you enjoy it here.
From my experience so far people love seeing process steps and are more likely to resteem and upvote.
You can checkout @steemartists (there is a discord) to meet other artists ^^.
There are also many art contests on Steemit, a great way for exposure. All the art rights are yours to keep unless contest says otherwise (they may sometimes feature contestants in a few posts).
The contests are usually promoted on discord too.
