A newbie to Steemit

Hello fellow Steemians!

I am just an ordinary girl who strikes to bring out the best in her, to allow her to shine bright and soon, she will be successful in her life with things that she desires for 👑 My name is Jia Hui Ng (you can also call me Elise, whichever name you prefer) and I am a Malaysian Chinese born (yea don't be surprised, I am a 100% pure Chinese, not a mixture of Japanese or Korean even though I do look like one of them and got mistaken from that too >.<) in a city called Georgetown, Penang Malaysia.

A little story about how I ended up staying in the Netherlands now:
I have been devoted my 24 years life living in Penang Malaysia. Until one day, I decided to step out of my comfort zone to do something different by moving to the Netherlands for the completion of my master study starting from August 2017 right after the completion of my bachelor degree in March 2017. I am thankful for my supportive parents to give me this chance to prove myself that I am capable of having the life that I want to!

As of now, I am completing my master study in Consultancy and Entrepreneurship at the Rotterdam University of Applied Science in the Netherlands. After the completion of the study, I would like to work in the Netherlands for a bit before I go to Taiwan or China in a year or two to start another chapter in life there.

My passions and interests?

I LOVE SINGING AND SINGING HAS BEEN A PART OF MY LIFE SINCE I WAS A CHILD. I used to attend a lot of singing competitions organized by my school when I was younger and got a lot of prizes. However, I would want to just keep singing as my passion, not turning into a career for me to pursue because I would want to just keep my own passion as something fun, not something that I do for a living etc.

Next, COOKING! In fact, cooking is my newly figured passion since I am in the Netherlands from day one. From a rookie that knows nothing about cooking to an average chef that cooks meals that help to survive daily life most of the time, I feel proud for embracing this passion of mine.

Last but not least, I LOVE FASHION! I WOULD DIE FOR FASHION! Fashions that I mostly interest are casual, casual smart, sporty, elegant, professional, fun, simplicity etc. Fashion is really important to me because I think what and how we dress matter for the first impression when it comes to professional purposes or leisure purposes. Imagine if someone walks into your office with a tee shirt, shorts and flip-flops during an interview, what would you feel? Impressed? NO!

Wait, that's not the last one yet! GADGETS AND TECHNOLOGY! Yes I love them because of how much convenience these two major industries have brought into humans' daily life. I would rather live in the city of future than the past but I do understand the importance of histories: the lessons that we learnt from the past.
