Self Exiled Artist Looking For a New Beginning
I’m quite excited to be part of this community and looking forward to interacting with all the interesting people here.
Hello. My name is Jhoneil and I’m an artist based in Los Angeles. I usually work digitally but if given more time and space, I would like to be working on giant size canvasses and painting epic themes. Ah, something to look forward to in the future.
Recently, I posted one of my artwork on Facebook and was banned for 24 hours. It was suggestive but no actual nudity.
Perplexed with the inconsistency of their community standards, I decided to stop posting my art on Facebook. A friend suggested that I should join Steemit. I lurked around and I’m pleased with what I have read and looked at. Great artwork, pictures, and stories!
In addition to being an artist, I also like riding my bicycles. I have several and love attending CicLAvias around Los Angeles. If I’m not painting, I’m most likely working on my bicycles or tinkering on my other hobbies.
I recently became interested in horse archery. I have been an archer all my life but took a few lessons in horse archery and I think I’m hooked. For those who do not know, horse archery is shooting a bow and arrow while riding a horse. How fun is that?
Anyway, that is all for now. I can’t wait to get started in this community.

Welcome to the Steemit Family!! Glad you decided to join. You mentioned an interest in archery. Have you ever tried bowfishing? It is the best. It is a challenge with smaller moving targets while judging for the refraction of the water, but something I suggest to anyone with an interest in archery.

No I have been doing archery since I was 3 and bowfishing is the only archery I have not tried yet. There is a lake here in SoCal where it is allowed but I haven’t been up there yet.
Well, it is a blast. I was hooked from the first time I tried.
