I am very thrilled and grateful to enter this boosting community. I love expressing my mind through words, but also knowing that I am not yet good enough to write such wonderful articles. That's why I am very glad that a communuty like this exists that can make my ideas into BIGGER IDEAS. In my own perspective, steemit is a field to nurture our hearts and minds. It is a better way to improve ourselves, and express our thoughts that might inspire others.

With so much gladness in my heart, I like to give my thanks to Ma'am @alyssaechavaria who encouraged and enlightened me about steemit. You surely have a big heart that helps other people, Ma'am! Thank you for welcoming me in this vibrant field!

I came so far for my journey and my heart is happy because of our beautiful little family. Although my parents' occupations are being OFWs, I can say that my sister and I grew up with love, trust and care from our parents. They always remind me how to set my priorities with so much support that's coming from them. Growing up without them lead me to maturity.

They are not by my side when I graduated from elementary and high school, but I did my best to show them how grateful I am by being the outstanding student of our class. I always envy my classmates for having their parents to attend classroom meetings, but I always remind myself that my parents are doing their bests to provide us good and comfortable life.

I am currently on my fourth year in college and studying Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I was once inlove with math and it pursued me to take the engineering field. In this field, women needs empowerment. I believe that my passion is greater than anything that lies ahead and I want the other women to have the guts to pursue their dreams, even if those dreams are traditionally for men. Women got the power to stand up and shine brightly no matter what field we are in. Because women have the heart and passion for their dreams. We got the patience and perseverance. We got the power!

Engineers are supposed to be scientists, but I also love to write especially when life tries to knock me down. Sometimes, I got so much words in my head and I want them to be expressed. I want other people to know what's my perspective on different things and I also want to know how others think. It always amaze me how people became different with each other and possess so much knowledge.

Through my college life, I met my bestfriends. They are the people who keep on pursuing the dreams we share. We believe that even engineering is traditionally for men, we will rise and shine so bright. And as they shine so bright, they never knew that they have given my life so much warm. ❤

I also have my favorite man! He is the most wonderful person I've ever met. He lifts me up whenever I'm so down and gives me the best feelings I never imagined. We met through unpredictable way, but I think that makes our relationship amazing. ❤

I also love photography. I always think why I can't let other people see what my eyes see. Tho, not literally see, but appreciate the beauty of nature. I am always amazed how nature is perfectly made. The beautiful sunsets that make me fall in love again. The ocean that sings a melody for my heart. The trees and flowers that remind me what beauty our life has to offer.

I also love to read! Reading is my way of travelling in time. Reading gives me so much adventures and it nurtures my mind. Although I prefer romance and science fiction, I'm also open minded when it comes to reading new genres. But since it's not vacation season yet, I give up reading books nowadays because I need to focus on my studies.

In our town that is surrounded by ocean and mountains, I grew up having mountain experiences with my family or friends. During summer or even rainy days, we always do mountain climbing and camping. The breeze of air in the mountains are really refreshing. The sound of nature and chirps of the birds will set your soul to calmness.

By the way, I am 20 years old and I can say that I got so much experiences in life. Since I am the first born in our family, I play the role of being the tough. If it's an online game, I am the tank. I am aware that life is beautiful, but I am also exposed to dark side of life. The dark side where light is almost dying. I used to be an honor honor student during my elementary and high school days, but today, I always feel like I'm just no one. I always doubt myself if I will be able to make myself proud someday. It's hard to live with so much pressure in your heart that it almost makes you forget to breathe. But I managed to walk milles on my journey and I think I already have the hope that I longed for.

Those dark days my life made me love myself and realized that there's no one who will be there when you needed someone, but just you. That's why self-loving is so important. No matter what others think about your life, you are the one who has the control on it. Life, for me, is about experiencing the pain and beauty of the current time. It is about if you are willing to give your all or not. It is about picking a rose or you trying to grow one. Because life is not easy. What you want is different from what you will get. Life requires effort for survival and aporeciation for happiness. It requires responsibility for the decisions we made and passion for what we will make.

My favorite seasons are summer and christmas! I like the sunsets during summer and the fact that it's the season for raging into beaches and resorts. This year, I want to try on night swimming or camping at the beach. Just by imagining the thought makes me sing out of excitement. 🌞

Summer is coming and I am really excited to share here at steemit all the adventures that lie ahead! I will surely post here everything and I hope that everything will be a success. So, let's steemit! Blog it! And earn it!
