What's up, steemit crew?!
I have been making videos on YouTube for several years. I make content about travel, adventure, fitness, health, food, veganism, and whatever other topics I feel excited about or think are important.
I was thinking of uploading to steemit some of my best videos that I have uploaded to YouTube already over the years. Is this allowed? Let me know if this is okay and if you think it's a good way to get going. If you might be interested to see my content, I'd much appreciate a few followers to get started!
Also, if you can recommend any people on here producing similar content that I might want to follow, that would be very much appreciated!

Welcome to steemit! You can definitely post your old videos. Are you familiar with dtube? It's the video platform for the steem blockchain you can upload your videos there directly and it will post on your steemit blog. Plus it will be on the blockchain forever so it can't ever be removed. Make sure you tell your youtube followers about this awesome platform, best of luck!
Hey @dajohns1420 thanks for your help. I'll post one of my favourite YouTube videos each day for a while and see how it goes. Will also mention my steemit in my next YouTube video. Any suggestions of people to follow on here? Are you making much original content?
Welcome to steemit! There is a great little vegan community on here and I have seen people doing really well with dtube (the steemit video platform). If you jump over to my channel I have a getting started video there too.

I grow medical cannabis and I write about the industry, and post pictures and updates from my facility. I also write about addiction and the drug war quite often. @jasonfonger, I’m not a social media professional. I’ve made a few memes and a few posts trying to figure out how @steemit works. My plan for future content will likely be random thoughts, stories I think others may find interesting, and more memes on different topics. We will see how it evolves, ya know.
Also, I stumbled across @seattlegirl a little bit ago. She is looking to swap vegan recipes. She may be someone to link up with.

Dude, it's so awesome to find you here. I've followed you on YouTube for years. Please don't give up on Steemit. It takes a while to take off but it's worth it long term. : )
