This is me. I like stuff and things.

Every day the doubts in my mind stop me from doing awesome, interesting things.
I've worried about posting my introduction for days. Not because of what I want to say or how any of you are going to react to me.
No.
My anxiety comes purely from the negative voice in my head - no-one will be interested in anything you have to say.

I even know where the voice originated. It still tries to keep me down, tries to subdue my spark.
So as I was doing the washing (which I'll write about another time), I thought, 'Fuck you, voice. I'm worth listening to!'

Are you allowed to swear on here? I hope so, 'cause I just did.

This is me.

I like stuff but not too much stuff - I tend towards minimalism. My husband really likes stuff. He also likes to leave it lying around the house, on display, so I can enjoy his stuff in all it's glory.... All of the time.... And he never puts it away....
I would take a photo of his stuff but he gets a bit funny about things like that.
Here's a list of the stuff I can see right now:

• clothes on the spare bed - all of them
• tools and bits on the verandah table
• shoes by the door
• 4 empty Coke Zero bottles on the coffee table
• a kilt hanging on the dining room chair

Now it's only fair that I provide you with a balanced view of our household, so here's the stuff I leave lying about:

• 2 cattle dogs
• a black kitty
• knitting
• my 'crugs' are by the door (kind of a cross between crocs & ugg boots)
• empty coffee cup
• kindle

Things I like include reading apocalyptic, zombie and dystopian fiction, working from home, coffee, gardening, ducks, chickens, coffee, staring out the window while I'm working, clouds and coffee.
