Hello Steemit!
So first thing you are supposed to put up is an introduction. So what do you say about yourself so people get an idea of who you are and what you are about, and not scare anyone off? First crazy is a relative term and as Sheldon says “my mother had me tested”.
So how did I end up here? Well the idea was to have a blog platform on the website, but then why reinvent the wheel? The next thought was a long established style platform a la Wordpress, but about the only people who see those are the people who already know about you and your website, and your current social media presence. So that brought me here.
My plan is to comment on things that I both have some knowledge of as well as a passion for scuba, photography and the environment.
Currently I teach Scuba Diving, in Canada; however, as the wife and I spent five years in the Cayman Islands, we are about ready to move again this time to somewhere in Central America. So feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to answer them.
Welcome to Steem @islandtimesports I have sent you a tip

Welcome to a really unique place to meet a lot of people and explore many different subjects and contents. My only experience with scuba was at the reef in Australia, but occasionally still snorkel a little. Upper mid-west US here.
Southern Ontario, so we know each others weather pain.
True! And if it doesn't stop raining every day here, I'm gonna need a wetsuit!!!
Nice! I'll have to think of some questions! :D
Hello and welcome @islandtimesports!
Seeing your picture I really miss Scubadiving... Looking forward to be doing it again soonish!
I hope you're having a great time here and I'm a little bit hoping to get some recommendations for some beautiful diving spots.
If you've got any questions just let me know and I'll try to answer them as good as I can! :)
Bonaire, great diving. Anywhere in the Cayman Islands. The Great Lakes if you do not mind cold water, lots of ship wrecks to see.
I grew up diving in Germany... cold water won't be an issue :D
My local club went to bonaire once every 2 years or so. Sadly I never joined them but I've seen beautiful pictures.
Have only been to Egypt (Beautiful aswell!), Spain and some German lakes.
Welcome!!! I am a fellow diver as well. Awesome post.
