Broken down to the smallest level, you are an individual. The pre and post context of describing your individualism, are second only to your individualism.
Don't put a negative connotation on self-serving and ego, they're necessary for a better world. I feel like you may have read some Ayn Rand before, ya?
Thanks for the comments @intothewild! I find that it is necessary to appreciate my own self-serving agenda while also equally important to respect others. I feel like one of the hardest things in life is finding the balance between presenting my individualism without imposing myself onto others. I have developed a deep understanding of myself and am growing my sensitivity towards the world around me.
I have never heard of Ayn Rand but I will research her. I listen to a lot of Alan Watt's seminars. Have you listened to any of his talks?
On another subject, are you an avid follower of the Twins?
Oh, I think you’ll like her. You speak of altruism, which is what she focuses her theses and ideas on. She’s not perfect by any means, but she gets a lot right.

Yeah I like Watts a lot. I have a playlist on my youtube channel with some of my favorite talks of his. (I need to update it though)
