Hello steemians today I am going to share my experience with you.I joined steemit in december 2017 and till date july 2018. I completed almost 7 months of my steemit journy.Throughout this journey I learned so many things which I really wants to share with you so that you can have good start and big whales would like to heavy vote for your post.So first I will tell you what unwanted things I did in steemit that you should avoid.
I can remember that one my first day I was unknown to steemit terms like what is upvote?what is meant by steem power?what is meant by delegation?what is meant by SBD/STEEM?and what is resteemation?

Mistakes that I have made in the beginning of my steemit journey ?

• The first mistake which I made is nothing but copy and pasting the blogs,news articles and youtube videos.I thought I will get easily upvotes and no one can see what I am doing but yes I was wrong steemit is made in smarter way that no one can copy paste the content from any corner of google the cheetah bot will fin you in a fraction of second.which turned in to down votes and effectively do effect on the reputation.I suffered from all those things.

• Second mistake which I made is I started blogging Without introducing myself on steemit.Self introduction which I consider is the most important thing that every new beginner should do.I will discuss it soon in further blog.Read this article by @bobiecayayo about introduction

• Third mistake was that I was unknown about html tags which are very Import to make your blog very attractive.I used to write without using html tags which made my blogs boring for readers to read.

• Every one of us write blogs but it is not necessary that we know everything about perticular topic sometimes we have to refer some information source or the source image to explain it in very understanding manner.So yes I referred many information sources and images but the fourth mistake that I have made by not to providing or describing links that I reffered for my content which is very important otherwise readers consider it as a copy paste content and dont vote for your good work

So far I dicussed with you the mistakes that I made in my throughout journy now let us see what you should to become successful blogger on steemit.

Things to do to make your blog useful and attractive

• First thing you should do after joining the steemit is nothing but writing introduction post about you because of that steemians comes to know about your specializations like who you are artist,musician,teacher,programmer,doctor or engineer so that when you write a blog people can trust on your knowledge that you are going to share through this platform.And people can easily follow you.

• Second thing that you should do is by making active followers for your profile which is very important thing that every one should do.For that you should visit profiles of new people have a discussion on their blog this will eventually increase your appearance on steemit and help to increase your followers on steemit.

• As I discussed in my mistakes copy pasting is against steemit coummunity so my suggestion to you all is that please give the reference at the end of your blog also dont forgot to give link of image source for image that you used for your blog. Following is html tag I give when I describe image.

1)first paste your image link which is in jpg or jpeg format for example- xyz.jpg
2)below your link use this format

• There is something which is very important which should get discussed here.Some people have problem in english writing including me too. Yes I have problem in english grammer now you may ask me a question that how did I wrote such a long blog ? so I want to tell you that I use grammerly app whose free virsion is available for firefox which auto corrects me if I make spelling mistake I hope this will help you too.

• There is also one faster way to earn on steemit is nothing but joining new contest on steemit.You will get any contest under the #contest steemit tag.Dont forget to join contest.

• New people who join steemit dont know about delegation and vote selling.So by delegating or by selling votes to bots like @minnowbooster , @smartsteem and there are many bots who gives you daily reward in SBD/STEEM on your delegations or in vote selling so you can visit their website to sell votes and for delegation.
