You must be doing a lot of editing on that introduction post. I got a LOT of notifications from that same post over and over. Either that or it sends me a message for each time I'm mentioned, and we did a lot of back and forth chatting, so my name shows up multiple times.

eeeeek! is that correct? if that is correct, then i have probably been MUTED by everyone that i have mentioned here. can someone enlighten me? every time i edit, do people i mention in the post get a notification?
Yes, it seems that is the case. I was mentioned by timcliff on a post and someone else resteemed it and I got notified several times for that one post. Even when I edited my OWN post, I was notified of the 'new' post with my name on it! Mind you the notifications are from steemchat being notified by steemwatch.
