Gary Beesley joins the Steemit community...Entrepreneurship, Technology, Fitness, Business, Personal Development, Crypto

Hi everyone, glad to become a part of such an innovative community here on Steemit. Curious to see where Steemit will be in the years to come.

I was born and raised in British Columbia Canada. Surrey B.C specifically which is considered by most people to be an "unsafe" place - at least when I was a teenager. This environment change me in many ways - some good, some bad. It has since grown into a much cleaner, more prosperous area.

Out of highschool, I worked as an ironworker which is a really tough construction job. I did this for three years until I decided I needed to make a big change. I then quit my job and enrolled myself at The Art Institute of Vancouver.

I chose to study Event Management because of the classes it offered and the condensed timeframe. 1 year program with 4 hour blocks. It offered classes such as Project Management, Human Resource Management, Stakeholder Management, Financial Management ex...I have contributed to a few events after I graduated but I really studied these subjects for the skills I would acquire. This course changed me from a caveman to someone with a basic understanding of computers hahah.

After graduating from A.I I moved to Vancouver with high hopes of landing a job at Hootsuite media. I took a course to become a "certified social media professional" granted by Hootsuite. I had met with their Public Relations manager, been certified with their course and sold their platform to The Venus Project community. By the time they offered me the opportunity to become a "Hootsuite Ambassador" I was dead broke and turned back to Ironwork. This time, with a different company - one where, because of my experience I could move up fast.

I did this for a few months, working 6 days a week until I was able to land a job with my father at a production plant. Working 4 days a week I was earning much more than the 6 days in construction - with much easier work. During this time, I had created many small businesses in E-Commerce. I am always learning from trial and error and from others mistakes. I try to invest in myself by reading and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. I have probably listened to 3000+ hours of content on Technology, Business, Nutrition and Entrepreneurship. This is a perk of the work.

My current business is called Insta Reach (www.instareach.ca) and we offer a subscription service for organic Instagram growth. Our service helps businesses and individuals attract followers organically and automatically which saves them time to create great content and focus on other business needs. If anyone is interested in a free trial - just ask!

Other than Instareach, I have been travelling more than usual. I had been to Mexico a couple times over the years but I just went to the Dominican Republic in December - which in my opinion was much better than Mexico. Better food, better weather, better beaches, better people. I've been trying to learn Spanish with the App Duolingo, which helped alot.

I met someone from France while on my vacation and decided to go see France. I went to France in January and this new friend toured me around Paris to all the major sites. It was beautiful and very different from Vancouver.

I have been watching the cryptocurrency market for around a year now, late to the game but still ahead of many. I may look for a job in this industry or find some way to service it myself. I find the idea of Bitcoin fascinating. I am also deeply interested in nutrition and anti-aging. I go to cryotherapy monthly and use the suana 4 times a week, I am also looking for where to get an intervenes stem cell treatment.
