First Station - La Mucuy Park

My first english post!

When you start a path you begin to know yourself (I think this is the hardest part in life for every human being) but it is also the best way to start LIVING.

Many times we focus on stress of the daily routine and forget the little things that make us happy and provide us well being and tranquility to our soul.

The best way to achieve that feeling of peace and serenity is by being in places where nature plays an important role and as the source of energy we sometimes need.

Today I found this place described by many of the spectators as a place where deep peace prevails, better known as "Park La Mucuy", an area corresponding to the Sierra Nevada National Park, located in the State of Merida Venezuela at east of Tabay town.

Surrounded by lush trees, i found a wonderful natural water reservoir, known as the Mucuy gully that plays a very important role, being the main source of water that supplies several towns on the area, it is so natural that you can even drink it directly from the river.

For this reason, it is kept as clean as possible.

It is a place where you can be alone with nature, being a perfect place to share with family and friends, with kiosks on the riverbank where you can make meals enjoying the fresh air and the sound of the waters, all this gives you a nice moment.

The park has become an attraction for hikers, perfect for camping! , serving as a route to great places such as the Coromoto lagoon (just 9km from the Mucuy), and the Humboldt Peak considered the second highest peak in Venezuela.
