#2 How to Change your Lifestyle to Lose Weight and to Improve Your Health : Reduce Carbs
So now it is a week or two later and you are used to eating 6 times a day.
Of course you want to know what's next but really…..one step at the time.
Some people never insert the 6 times into their eating habits and give up.
In my eyes these people do not want to change anything to have a better health.
I will not be able to help people who do not want to be helped. Anyway...please do not try to do everything at once.. It won’t work.
Okay. Next is to reduce the carbohydrates in your food. Carbohydrates or carbs are in almost anything we eat:
* Bread
* Pasta
* Potatoes
* Rice
* Cookies
* Sweets
* Chocolate
* Soft Drinks and Fruit Juices
* Ketchup
Just look at the labels to see how high the percentage carbohydrates is. You’d be surprised !
Everything we eat has calories and to keep it simple : one third should be from carbs, one third from protein and one third from fat.
Many people’s food consist for 50% or more carbs.
Do not forget that sugar is a carbohydrate and in soft drinks and fruit juices we find 10% or more sugar.
So every liter of cola has 100 gram sugar.
To replace that for diet coke is not a solution because that causes another problem but I will explain that in another post.
So when we consume 1 liter per day and take in 100 gram every day we get 3 kilo ( 5.5 lbs) in our system every month !
In 1 year that is 36 kilo ( 80 lbs)
After you’ve got used to eating 6 times a day you reduce your carbs intake.
Try to eat less bread or fries or rice.
If you can replace the soda with water.
Keep the rest of your diet the same.
I went from 8 slices of bread to 4 per day so I skipped 4x30 is 120 slices per month.
Do this in week 3 and 4, considering that you took 2 weeks to get used to eat 6 times a day.
After week 4 you should see result ; maybe not in weight but in size.
At the beginning of this journey remember how your pants are on your body and compare that after week 4.
