The green future is steeming - About 2 world traveller and how to create an eco project in Perú

Hey guys, excited to be here and get in touch with this community.
My partner and I started a round the world trip with our bikes and just a few things, like a tent and sleeping bags, some clothes, a smartphone and just some euros left. We sold everything we owned back in Berlin and have been buying us out of student loans, bought the best equipment we could afford and flew off into the world to find out what it means to be free, to share your time and work power with others, to experience how people would treat us, to sleep in and eat from nature….

We travelled through Europe from Berlin to the south of Spain and had a blasting time, with ups and downs, fears, tears and a thrilling feeling of freedom and control about our lives.

On our way, we thought a lot about how we want to create our future and serve other beeings around us and we found the best way would be to grow our own food at a peaceful place with others and inspire people to live a healthy and natural, self sufficient life, if they want to.

When we arrived in Spain, people told us to go to middle america, cause there would be communities who are already on the way of doin' this kind of stuff.

First, we wanted to sail over the ocean, but the winds have not been fitting in this time.

We sold our bikes for a good price in Spain and could buy two flight tickets to Costa Rica, where we have been in touch with a tropical climate for the first time. It was a live changing experience but the communities we where promised, where not what we have been looking for, but we had a lot of fun anyway, especially with the banana plants.

So we began our search for our new home in America…
We traveled down through Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and lived through many adventures on our way..More and more, we knew.. we will have to create that special place.. A neighbourhood out of self sufficient permaculture gardens in harmony with nature, in touch with the modern world, cruelty free and healthy tropical food, alternative lifestyle all over the kick ass way!

And then it happened.. We get to know the land of the Inka.. Perú..
and our hearts dropped down like stones, saying … „Guys… you stop travelling NOW.. this is it.. this is where we will live“..

And we made all hell break loose to make that happen.
Three years of finding the right region, migrating, paperwork

...and finally we founded a nature conservation organisation called GaiAma, to be able to effectively save HUGE amounts of rainforest and amazonian water sources while creating an example of a blinding bright green lifestyle.

We are not using loud machines to build houses, we only use bamboo or small trunks, which can be harvested with a silent machete or axe. We do not use chemicals for the or our bodies. We only use natural stuff that can flow into the water and you can still drink. We are researching for innovative ways of education, free learning and alternative currency and trading systems.. 

Here on Steem I want to share all the beautiful pictures, videos, thoughts and insights of our live in the soft and beautiful tropics of Perú and also, our progress, plans, the challenges and what we achieve.

I will start to post some former topics and pics about our round the world trip, sprinkle some recent photos of GaiAma and work my way up on the timeline to the present day from which you can follow us on our amazing, gaiamagical journey ♡
