My Life: Adventure, Pain, Wonderment, Fear, Near Death Experience, Lightning Strike to Head, and Other Oddities

Hello everyone! As you can see, I haven't posted for almost 2 years. Since I made my first post, I've decided to write this book as a series of posts here on Steemit. Please follow this link to my first post to find out what the book is about.

All of the experiences which I write about are true things that actually happened to me during my crazy life.

For most of my life, I thought I was a normal person and that events like I experienced, happen to everyone. Then, as I got older, I began to realize that most people don't experience all the trauma, weirdness, excitement, terror and adventure that has encountered me during my trip through life on this earth.

So, I have decided to document these true-life events. These events will not be listed as chapters, but as separate posts.

All posts on this topic will have the words, "My Life", in the title.

One of my passions in life, is trading; specifically forex, options and crypto currencies. Statistics show that from 95 to 98% of all new traders fail in their trading endeavors. They open a trading account, fund the account, start trading and lose all the money in their account. Then, they re-fund their account and lose all the money again. Many go through this cycle several times. But, eventually they quit altogether.

Having studied trading, or having actually traded for more than 28 years, I have come to the conclusion that people who know how to trade, trade. People who have tried to trade but fail, and, are still interested in trading, teach others to trade.

One thing is quite clear to me after studying trading for so many years; almost all trading educators teach the same thing. So, if 95 to 98% of prospective traders are all taught to trade the same way, and they all lose, then why would I, or anyone else want to trade the way they do?

With the above in mind, I will discuss with you the methods and mindset I use when I am trading. Almost everything I do and think while trading is "against the rules" of modern trading. I know of no trader who prepares and trades the way I do.

Another huge interest of mine, is politics and governments. There is way, way too much negativity and acrimony invoked by politicians running for office. Do they really believe they are right on every issue and their opponent is wrong on every issue? If so, then they are a partisan hack and shouldn't be running for office.

Sometimes I think mathematics can describe any situation. For instance...(Human Beings + Power) X Money = Corruption!

Questions for everyone: Are Democrats correct on every issue? Are Republicans correct on every issue? How about Libertarians? Conservatives? Liberals? Progressives? Socialists? Theists? Atheists?

I will be discussing these issues with you as well as my belief that there are some things good and some things bad in all philosophies and in all people.

We will also be discussing what we can do to change politics from its present rancorous turmoil into an empathetic discussion of how the governments of the world can serve the people without ruling over them.
