Well, here I am. Comedy Open Mic Round 18

My friend didn't want to take this account over, so I guess I am going to do it. I will just use this for short posts and jokes and stuff like that. I use my other accounts for longer comedy and life stories, as well as a bit of homesteading, so this will balance things out well.

Oh yeah, my name is Chris and I post at @profanereviews and @granolalight. My wife is @reactionaries and she mostly will be posting about mental health issues and her own interests on her blog. She doesn't love blogging like I do, so we will mostly be doing videos on hers.

As for this place, it will be for whimsy and complete silliness. There might be some foul language here and there, but I think we're all adults here. I'm guessing that a few of you were following this account because of the Bible posts that were on here but there won't be any more of that, so I'm not going to get upset if you unfollow.

I might get into some contests and maybe some fun participation posts, so if you are into that, then, by all means, follow along and check things out. I will be trying to think of some unique ways to drum up interest, but I'm not perfect, so bear with me.

I also really love @comedyopenmic and will probably be throwing some posts in there each week, so if you like to post funny things, or even just wish you could post funny things, you should check them out. There is a lot of helpful folks there that want to see you make people laugh, so why not take them up on their experience and generosity?

They aren't really picky and they realise that comedy is subjective, that's why there are a bunch of different judges. The only thing they are sticky on is a few rules and that you post original content and not something that someone else worked hard to make.

Hell, I bet I could turn this into a legit Comedy Open Mic entry just by tweaking a few things. Let's see, throw a few cat memes in, say some words, add #comedyopenmic into the tags and toss in Comedy Open Mic Round whatever it is the title.

Oh shoot, I forgot to nominate two people that I would like to see in here. Let me take a look through the followers and see what we can find.

Oh looky, @cyber-smiley looks like they enjoy comedy. Maybe they will join the contest. Now let's see if there are any other non-bots that might have a sense of haha.

Right on, I found @jamesgetsit. He's a talented singer/rapper and is really looking out for our rights to freedom of speech. I'm hoping he can lay some truth comedy on us. George Carlin may be dead, but the truth lives on.
