Fringelife #000 - Fringelife is here on Steemit!
Hello to all Steemians!
I have joined Steemit 3 months ago and finally I'm posting my first post here to connect to each and every one of you! First of all, a big thanks to @ned and his fabulous team in creating this wonderful platform.
Why am I here?
After learning about the blockchain, cryptocurrency and decentralized space, I see the shift in our life that is evolving every second we breathe right now. It is like the Industrial Revolution happening from 1760 to around 1820 and followed by the Internet boom. Over the centuries, we have seen the power and economic inequality gap between the rich and poor growing bigger rapidly across the globe. And seeing rising merger and acquisition all over the world in various industries that make the biggest company to have the power to monopolize the space while the smaller ones struggling to survive.
With this platform, we are spreading the wealth for the information we have provided and shared rather than being used by the centralized social media platform. Even though we are not paid a single cent sharing our posts on Facebook, Instagram and so on, we are still using these platforms to showcase our daily events to our friends and family for most people. And for those influencers, they are using these platforms to grow their fans so that they will be able to get some sponsorship and marketing jobs from various companies. It is addictive as human are nosy about other peoples life and juicy news.
I see Steemit has the potential to be big, but it should not be purely for Steemians to earn money, as this will not give Steemians a strong reason to keep posting quality and truthful posts. Why? If I am here to earn money with all the posts, after postings hundreds of articles for a few months, earning $1 or less per post, I would have been demoralized and give up to look for better ways to earn. And if it is for earning money, I would have been searching around to see which is the best way to make my posts earn more $$. And lastly, if earning money is the main reason for everyone to be here, why would one Steemians want to continue to post when every post is less than $1 after years of posting? If we look at Facebook, everyone is not getting any reward for their post but purely ‘likes’ which made them feel good about themselves. And where nobody likes their post, they may feel upset but still have the urge to post what they have been doing to update their friends and family in their network.
Hence, I guess if we Steemians see this platform as a place to build our community to learn and share with one another, it may grow at an accelerated speed. Life does not revolve around money, as money is purely a reward to the things we contributed, that we could use it to get things we want. Life is a journey for us to enjoy, experience and learn. I would want to build a community here to connect to like-minded people to discuss on various topics that will improve our mind and soul.
Please feel free to drop a comment below and follow me @fringelife if you are into positive living and seeing each and every situation as a blessing in disguise. And if you have inspiring stories to share, feel free to tag fringelife so that we can come together to create a positive vibes to all around us!
Why do I name myself Fringelife?
Somehow I come across an e-book called “Fringe Knowledge” - https://montalk.net/files/fringeknowledgeWEB.pdf
After reading the book, I see things differently even though I’m still learning each day to improve myself further. No one should stop learning, as we would not be living if we stop learning. Basically, I like the concept of seeing our body and even mind as something that brings us around in this world. And the concept of playing video games where you are the ‘higher being’ controlling the player in the game. Each of us has a higher being telling our mind what to do, how to react, and what to think. And our body is controlled by our mind to move around. If we can reach out to our higher being and be aware of our higher being, we would have a greater control of our life. Aura is something that is around us, when we see someone with some indescribable charisma and energy that makes us feel that he/she is a powerful yet approachable person. Coming out of your body and mind, seeing things differently will make you be in control of any situation when you understand that you can be anyone you want to be and you are purely using this body to get things done.
Lastly, I’m going to remain as Fringelife sharing my life stories of what has happened, and how I react to it and how I could do better.
Thank you for reading.
