Hello @generikat - thank you for stopping by - now about that trip of yours through Flathead country ... that is some gorgeous terrain ...as is Banff ... but then I'm biased as to the Banff area ... not so much the Flathead area.
Drove down an old mining road there once and met an oldtimer who was raising trout! Craziest thing I ever saw ... the trout would come to him whenever he was at the water's edge. I believe he was the last inhabitant of that ghost town.
You never know what adventures life brings!
