Currently I am posting on dMania so my smartsteem application was rejected because of that, I don't only post on dmania , I do other articles just that lately I am only posting there. Even tough I work hard on my memes and gifs my application for smartsteem was rejected.
So how will this work? SmartMeme? I am very curios about it, because I like the idea of curation. I fighted very hard to clean some abusers on dMania with success
I reported a dozen of them and they got blacklisted eventually after some strugles.
But I like your idea with curation along with steemcleaners, spamminator and steemflagrewards.
Will this service work for dMania also ? Or do I need to remove dMania tag? Or can I use both dMania tag as first and put a different tag next ?
It will work by establishing a system whereby curators are rewarded using a game like rank system for starters. We need to establish the meme ranks. I'm thinking Pepe will be the top rank and maybe Bad Luck Brian as the bottom of the totem pole.
I will be creating a discord and integrating a Python bot that is able to generate the comments for sourcing memes and tracking the registered contributor. We want a master list of memes and their original authors and eventually we may be able. Lets say you find a quality meme that someone submitted but, unfortunately, it isn't sourced. No biggie. We can hook them up if it is an original variation. We'll have a command that accepts a link, source link and meme display name and the bot will comment while the contributor earns points.
Points will be used to determine your meme rank and future perks to be determined. I am also very interested in fighting posts that do not add value to the blockchain. I would like this project to help Dmania become even better as I believe it is a good application. They seemed to just have gotten thrown under the bus because of a few bad apples. Isn't right in my opinion.
