Dear all,
I'm glad to be part of this sympathetic socio-technological experiment. I am here to learn and to engage with this novel platform and the community it hosts. My name is Edwin Gardner, and i'm a futurist, thinker, writer and keynote speaker with my own Amsterdam-based practice called Monnik. A futurology studio that specialises in research, storytelling and worldbuilding. With Monnik I've worked across the cultural field making exhibitions, publications, workshops, tours and talks about how we can imagine better worlds. Basically I operate from the premise 'no is not enough', if you want to change the world you need to imagine alternative futures. A critique about what's wrong won't cut it. The world is made by those who dare to imagine alternatives, and those that start making them.
