I Am GBENGA OLANIPEKIN

Hello friends,my name is Olanipekun Gbenga Gabriel. Am a student of life but graduated with a B.sc from Osun State University, studied Linguistics and Communications’ Studies, however am not ready yet to graduate from being a life student. Wow, I enjoy so much, the study, the lessons that life brings my way and learning from the lessons thereof. More than not, except you are a Ghanaian, Nigerian or an African am most likely the cutest dark dude you ever met LOL. That earned me a nick name….most people call me Ebonniee

Have had to ask myself more times than I remember; who am I? You wanna hear the truth am, yet to come to grasp of who I am , why I came, I seem to be “ a multi layered being”… what do I mean? Just when am getting comfortable and convenient with myself another facet of my multifaceted personality emerges. However, in all of these, certain character are pillars. I'm cool, loving, like meeting people, easy going, outspoken, tenacious and a lover of books. I enjoy music a lot and that is a perfect way of relaxing to unlock my soul. Most of my friends tell me am crazy fun to be with, however I so much enjoy being with myself much more. It’s always a time I look out for; nothing on the agenda just me!

Most times I am very spontaneous and hyperactive. I really love feedback but don’t fancy destructive criticism. I however have another me living on the inside of me, this drives me to doing what I do. Am crazy, just crazy about adding value to the lives of people no matter the cost. I strongly abide and believe in the principle that if you know better you will do better. I believe every Saul can always become a Paul, it depends on the voice he is hearing. I am a public speaker,
and I make use to the social media to disseminate values to has many people desire it - absolutely free. However never forget value is like energy, it cannot be destroyed, it surly comes back in a different skin. So, I was so delighted when @tojukaka told me “guy, there is a social media platform that encourages value addition” wow! What’s the name he told me Steemit! You know like most of us don’t get to start walking on the first day I registered but then found the interface pretty cumbersome I literarily just shut down the idea. Then some weeks later I met with @kingsolo who invited to meet with @olawaslium and I was so delighted they did a very good job enlightening me. First I decided to be watch and see how the platform works but now it’s time to get into the pool guys! Nothing makes me feel better than impacting knowledge and nothing in the world makes me more fulfilled.

I however, own a shoe making outfit. Okay…have been corrected over saying am a shoe maker, am an “FF” footwear fabricator. LOL I make shoes and sincerely I make good and quality shoes. Infact, that was the meeting point for me and the boss @tojukaka. I live what I say, I believe your work is your primary purpose for being on this giant ball it is your addition to the life here on earth. however your work keeps your body and soul together. You need to find how you combined both (work and job) independently or make both one. Make your work (your gifting to the world, your purpose for being you) and your job (what puts food on your table) one. Once you achieve this you have struck greatness. So, I don’t joke with my job of making shoes,

it pays the bills while impacting knowledge through speaking is why am alive. I have however, over time falling in love with making shoes and it has really helped groom my business side and also test the waters concerning my business principles.

I believe that at the death bed of most people, they relive their life and regret the steps they didn’t take…however they regret most, who they didn’t become that they should have been that they really are. I strongly have that has my greatest phobia….not living out my potential to the fullest. I spend time in the place of prayer asking the lord that I do not disappoint Him for by Him I can do all things but by I can of myself do nothing. My greatest desire is that when in the skies, I can look down upon this giant ball and see that by the accumulation of my impact, the world became a little bit better, happier, sweeter, livelier, homelier, and warmer, than when I came. Then I can say; I ran a good race and fought a good fight! The greatest fear is to carry what is needed in this relam to the next realm where it is not needed would be a colossal waste! One of the greatest concerns is about my country Nigeria, and Africa by extension…is this how we would continue to let the richest keep being the poorest because of perverted and thwarted minds? When will the youth rise up and deliver this continent? Over 70% of the world’s mineral resources lies in Africa yet over 70% of the world’s poverty lies here what a paradox!
If you haven’t noticed by now….well am a Christian to my cells and fiber. Am the convener of seven hours with God; a spiritual programme that encourage students to pray and also visioner of bible study on whatsapp, where we finish reading the bible once a year. I have some groups of students that I mentor and I try to encourage to reach their full potentials, I do a lot of speaking to students and have videos of my teachings under my organization Generational Impact Makers. To me God is everything and have experienced Him over and over in my life. I feed on God word well and I don’t forget to feed on my physical meals either. My best food is plantain fried egg…writing this makes me salivate. I think I need to go and eat! LOL

I must confess that I have not fully understood steemit, am still getting used to the platform for it seems ever evolving to me. However I decided to step out based on motivation I got, when I saw what @damarth was doing…a meal a day for people who didn’t have meal, what a selfless cause. I then told myself if I refuse to give the knowledge I have here, right now to some who needs it, I will be falling short of my own personal creed; I can’t help everyone but at least I can help someone at a time and I will do all I can to help by the release of needed information and assistance till they can run off on their own.

I don’t know if this little piece I put together will be good enough has my introduce yourself post but am sure coming with posts am sure will benefit you. @thelovejunkie however said to me during her presentation that this must be our first post. I hope have said enough to be welcomed into the community. I hope to find a family here. Thanks.
