My First Ever Steemit Post (An Intro to My Love of Gardening, Sustainability, Travel and Photography)

Hello all! I'd first like to start by saying, it's a pleasure to have joined this amazing community and to help contribute to the growth of our world with like-minded people, quite obviously focused on growing themselves each and every day, in each and every way. In my years of viewing somewhat similar platforms (like reddit and others of course) i've never come across something quite as unique as Steemit, community included. And this is why after all these years of holding back content, i've finally decided to jump into this platform!

So anyway, this will be a brief description of my past horticultural studies, projects and ideas- which is what I hope to provide to this community. As well as a bit of my growing love for travel and photography along the way, as my travels have brought me closer to the environment, and what better way to document than amazing pictures. Well, i'm still learning with my Nikon D5300 (for all you Nikon fans out there) but I hope to continually get better in this aspect!

At the moment, i'm finishing up my last few hours visiting Munich Germany, hanging out on the balcony while writing this post before my flight back home to the United States. Once home, I plan to create a fairly in depth look into my tours of the city, the culture/history here, as well as my travels through the Bavarian Alps next to the Zugspitze. What better way to get in touch with nature!?

As I've mentioned, my main passions have been based around horticulture and sustainability. I'm constantly learning new things about everything from raised bed gardening and permaculture, to designing and building hydro/aquaponic systems. DIY irrigation systems and little tricks such as a simple compost tumbler have helped me immensely in these endeavors, and since it's been so helpful to myself and my family, I'd love to share this information with the world to help make it a better place! After all, i'm all about Growing Solutions!
