Hi steemies and steemelmen, and all those Steemers in between.

Complete noobs here, a couple of steem virgins about to pop our digital cherrys.

I’m Liam a lowly postgrad from the UK.

I work in academia, researching social cognition, specifically how the way in which we move together impacts upon our social lives (amongst other things).

I’m interested in science, psychology, travelling, music, comedy and the growing world of crypto, which lead me here.

This Is Gray my partner in love, life, vehicular insurance and academic conquests.

She’s also a lowly postgrad, but from the US of A.

She’s interested in travelling, psychology, art, (not science) fiction and all things feline.
(Particularly this one we rescued from the tough streets of Houston)

She (Gray, not the cat) also works in academia, researching Theory of Mind (thinking about the mental states of others) and autism spectrum disorder.

Together we're a typical trans-atlantic couple, united by a disparate field and separated by a common(ish) language, eager to share our love for: travelling and cats, experience in academia and very specific expertise in some niche fields of psychological research of interest to almost no-one. Based out of the UK and US gets us thinking quite a bit about politics (a post Brexit and Trump world is excellent fodder for posts), so we're looking forward to the Steem sounding board.
