First Day on Steemit and dTube
Hi Everyone!
Today I've created an account and am trying to figure out how Steemit and Dtube interact with each other, so I'm posting one of my videos to experiment.
I'm a professional studio and touring singer and vocal arranger. I primarily make music a cappella, but try to differentiate myself from the Glee, Pitch Perfect, and Collegiate A Cappella groups by writing unique harmonies and writing and performing in a style influenced by Background Singers from the 60s-80s, where most of my influences come from. I'm actually quite turned off by the aforementioned styles.
As a trained vocalist, I have a strong "no auto-tune or pitch correction" stance on music making - I've spent my career perfecting the art of singing in tune to a greater degree of precision than most professional singers. There is a lot of attention to detail to specific frequencies, the way chords are built, and the overtones created from the harmonic series. Though it is a recording, my arrangements truly shine when performed live.
My music is written to be sung by choirs or other vocal groups as well as for your enjoyment online. Fuel those endorphins!
Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts about my music or how I can be successful as a noob on these platforms.
Much love. <3
