We’re just a bunch of Maniaks...

...CryptoManiaks that is. Hellooo Steemit! We've been lurking for a while and wanted to finally introduce ourselves. It looks like a great community here and we are excited to be a part of it!

We’re a team of cryptocurrency professionals living and working all over the world. We have one goal in common: helping people learn about and understand cryptocurrencies. This post will explain what we do and why we do it but also what type of value we are looking to add to Steemit. We've seen that posts here run the gambit and we love that diversity! We believe that many Steemit users are familiar with the crypto space and we are hoping you can provide some feedback to help us achieve our goal of making quality cryptocurrency education available and accessible to anyone that wants it.

Our story starts with Mendel & Benjamin. They invested in Bitcoin and select Altcoins early on and saw the potential for it to increase in adoption. While crypto excited Ben and Mendel, learning about it was not easy, especially in the early days. Bitcoin, blockchain, cryptocurrency, proof of work - what did it all mean?!

When you search online for educational resources about crypto, there are plenty. However, so many of them are inaccurate, incomplete, or poor in quality. Everyone knows the crypto space is full of money, and there are thousands (if not millions) of people out there looking for a quick money-grab. They want your attention and they will waste your time if you let them. Mendel & Benjamin realized the world needed a better source of crypto information and education.

Then, CryptoManiaks was born.

Mendel & Benjamin committed 100% to CryptoManiaks right from the start. They've invested their own returns from cryptocurrencies back into CryptoManiaks (there's some nice synergy there!). They knew they needed a talented and dedicated team, so they set to work finding the right people. It started small with a couple of developers, but it wasn’t long before they hired writers, graphic artists, marketing professionals, and other specialists from all over the world.

We strive every day to offer the best crypto information and educational content and we've been told that we're doing a pretty good job so far. Currently, we have free courses that explain blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and ICOs.

We cover these topics broadly so even the most uninformed beginner can understand, but we also dive deeper to cover the important details.

We also work tirelessly to provide descriptions, reviews, ratings, and recommendations about both emerging and established cryptocurrencies. We have over 70 cryptocurrencies reviewed to date and we add more every week.

Together, our crypto analysts have over 25 years of experience in the crypto sector. When combined with our traditional backgrounds in finance, tech and engineering it allows us to offer unique and insightful perspectives.

One of our most innovative features is our glossary. Crypto is filled with unfamiliar words, terms, and phrases that can leave even experienced crypto investors running to Google for help. With our glossary, you’ll never need to ask Google again.

Another super cool feature about our glossary is that it helps us make our content better and more approachable. Any time we write a blog, course, coin review, or anything else with a glossary term in it, we link that glossary term so that its meaning appears when you hover over it.

Of course, crypto is constantly evolving and breaking news comes out all the time. We work relentlessly to digest all the biggest stories that come out and approach them from unique angles in our blog posts. Each blog is contributed to and reviewed by multiple crypto experts. When you read any content or article we publish, whether on our site or off, you can be sure that it’s of the highest quality possible.
