Introductory post

Hey Steemit,
I recently joined this amazing blockchain based social media site, and am amazed at the diversity of the users and topics. However, we all have one thing in common, our belief in the future of blockchain. I am here to quickly describe my story.

I am a 17 year old from Australia who has been obsessed with the stock market from a young age. I was also, and still am to a slight degree, obsessed with history. How do these relate. In history, you see the events and the impact they have on the world. This impact invariably influences the financial markets, and I believe that we are beginning to see this. Events are leading to our lack of belief in the system, hell, I am 17 and can see this. This has lead to the creating and wide spread adoption of blockchain. But first I will explain how I got to this.

I have an obsession with books too. I read multiple accounts of the Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who achieved their greatness through being in the right place at the right time. They were at the place where the technology was being created, and they understood the implications of it before anybody else. Others thought they were mad and saying they were wasting their time, but they knew what they were doing. They had the courage in their convictions that so many today lack. I never thought that I would experience, let alone be at the forefront, of a technological revolution like there were.

In recent years I have continually been looking for ways to earn money. I have sold produce I have grown, invested in the stock market and even run a canteen at my boarding school. However, my goal was to make money online, but the slight problem of not being 18 was continually interfering with this. I searched, and this lead me to blockchain, where being anonymous was a given and age didn't matter, just the understanding of the system. I was immediately dubious, as I recalled the moments in 2017 where there was general euphoria and even I was trying to convince my parents to buy ripple (didn't work). I never understood how any of it worked, I just wanted money. I the time that has passed I have realized these mistakes and now look at the world of crypto in a different light.

In recent months I did a research project on Bitcoin, and this is the moment when I became totally absorbed into this world as I understood the technology and the potential implications it has for the world. I eventually joined the revolution through a coinspot account and have thoroughly enjoyed the extreme volatility of the markets. I just think, if I can handle this, I can handle any market. I eventually stumbled upon Publish0x, and from there found here. Both I believe are amazing sources of information from like minded people.

I look forward to being with you all in this amazing journey!
