Hello from Canada! Nice to meet you and welcome to Steemit :D You shouldn't undersell yourself by saying you are "mediocre" in your studies. Everyone learns differently and school try to have a one-size-fit-all approach. I certainly did not fit within my university's teaching approach so I had to learn to adapt. Know your strengths but work on your weaknesses first and you'll have a great outcome. It takes time but you got plenty of that when you study :P
