Hello! My name is Caleb Dyer - Graphic Designer, Contributor to the Desert Lynx, and Candidate for NH State Rep.
Hello Steemit! After seeing some of my friends posting on other social media about this site, I've finally decide to join you all. I am 20 years old and a native of New Hampshire. I work a day job at Tractor Supply and I also work as a graphic designer. In addition, I recently became a paid contributor for The Desert Lynx, a NH based blog site. I have been very interested in cryptocurrency since mid 2010 when I first learned about and started using Bitcoin. So naturally, a Reddit-like site that pays its' contributors in crypto for their posts peaked my interest.
I am also on the ballot in New Hampshire for the office of State Representative. The job pays only $100/year if you're elected, so I'd hardly call myself a politician.
In my free time I like to go hiking. It is my goal to hike all the 4000'+ mountains in NH in the next couple years. As of late I haven't been making any progress on that list in favor of doing hikes with better views. The picture below is taken from the top of Mt. Morgan overlooking both Lake Squam and Lake Winnipesauke.
This picture is taken just down the road from the Golf Course in Sugar Hill, NH. The Mount Canon ski slopes can be seen in the background.
These pictures were taken at Beaver Brook Falls way up in Colebrook, NH
This picture was taken at Monte Rosa on the way to the summit of Mt. Monadnock.
I am also a professional keyboardist and guitarist. I have played on studio tracks for local artists from every genre from jazz to metalcore. However, I really love playing for fun with the band pictured below, Sturdy Moss.
Glad you're here, glad you're running, glad you're on the cutting edge of technology. Keep fighting for freedom!
Nice to meet you, Caleb Dyer! Welcome to the family steemit.
You have wide interests. Write more, i think it should be interesting .
Welcome Caleb. Images that show up in the preview but not in the post are usually missing the http bit somewhere in the html.
What picture can you not see? I can see all the pictures I put in the post just fine.
Ah, I have broadband but some images weren't showing, now they are.
