Venture off the Beaten Path! Follow my girlfriend and I as we travel to 5 different countries in Asia
What’s up Steemit? How are you guys doing? Happy to finally join the community!
I’m Collin Pham and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I’m 20 years old and a 3rd year university student studying software engineering at UC Irvine. School has been brutal the past few months, so this summer I am taking a little time off to finally travel back home to the motherland!!!
On my trip I intend to visit Asia stopping at Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea and Japan (in that order) over the course of 1 and a half months.
I'm SOOO excited because I finally saved enough money for this trip and it's my first time traveling out of the United States! On this trip, I hope to get a better view on how different people's lives across the world are and just experience their culture genuinely. For that reason I do not have any planned destinations to go once I arrive to the country but will instead go with the flow and wander the streets hopefully experiencing the country like the locals. I will be taking pictures and keeping track the prices for everything and any little differences I notice among day to day life in each country!
