Hi Steemians, I'm "C"

Please allow me to introduce myself to you guys, my name is "C".
I’m working in an advertising agency in Thailand.
It was always my dream since I was young.
I have to say that twenty years back then,
the advertising job was an ideal job
for many young people and it was not easy to step into this industry.

Me, as a young girl was super determined to
head to the university with the advertising curriculum.
But the thing was, I did not have the senior high school certificate
to be eligible to take the university entrance examination.

It was not that I didn’t know that the vocational school couldn’t provide me
with the senior high school certificate.
But I chose to go to that school
only because I want to be able to speak English!
It was the only school in Thailand during that time that does not only teach in English
but students are not allowed to speak Thai in the school compound.
Meaning that I would have a chance to practice English...
but until now my English is not that good as I wished LOL!

However, I didn’t give up my dream so I took the equivalency examination
and finally, have a chance to further my study in the university I wished.

I graduated and started my career as a copywriter and I planned for another career
which is a screenwriter just in case I left the advertising agency
so I can write something at home.
Therefore I joined a “New generation Screenwriter Contest”
and got an opportunity to be a screenwriter with one leading TV station in Thailand
under 5 years contract.

Sound great, look good but...

there are not many production companies would like to take a risk
spending a big production budget with an amateur writer.
I totally understand the point that they prefered to work with
the experienced and familiar screenwriters instead.
But I considered myself as one lucky woman
because have the screenwriting job from time to time.

After getting married, I moved to Chiangmai and ran a cafe and bakery.
Everythings looks goods in its shape but I faced the classic problem
which is the landlord owner problem.
So I decided to close my business and head back
to advertising agency due to my ex-bosses offer.

Keep up to fast pace.

Even though my career path is moving right on track
but nowadays world has massive changes
including the communication and advertisement.
I have to learn more about how to win consumer’s heart in the digital era.

And this is how I found one article talking about Steemit.

I was so amazed by the platform and gathered some information on how to apply.
I quickly applied but I’ve waited for a ​month or two month
but I didn’t get the approval email.
At that time, I thought maybe Steemit have enough people on the platform
but another me yelling that don’t give up
So I reapplied with another email account.
And finally, ​ I got the email approval from Steemit.

I suddenly jumped into the platform
with something should not be called an introduction​ blog for​ myself.
So here I am doing the proper blog of self-introduction​ again.

Give before you get.

I really love how Steemit has designed for people to give before to get.
If you give something good to the community,
you will definitely get more than you ever​ expected.

My contribution to the community

Although I’m not a the top ranking people, my fighting spirit and experiences
will enhance me to create aspiring blogs for Steemian.

My blogs will be about life,
how to blog on Steemit,
some blogs on food and pastry,
some interesting food parlour,
some impressive trip,
some knowledge from my career if anyone wants to know.

สวัสดีค่ะ

ขอแนะนำตัวอย่างเป็นทางการอีกครั้งนะคะ ชื่อ C ค่ะ ทำงานอยู่ในบริษัทโฆษณาแห่งหนึ่งค่ะ
งานโฆษณาเป็นงานในฝันตั้งแต่ยังเป็นเด็ก ซึ่งต้องบอกว่าเมื่อยี่สิบกว่าปีก่อนนั้น
งานโฆษณาเป็นงานในฝันสำหรับคนยุคใหม่ในยุคนั้นหลายคน
และมันก็ไม่ง่ายที่จะก้าวเข้าไปสู่แวดวงโฆษณา

ตอนเด็ก เป็นเด็กที่มีความมุ่งมั่นมากว่าจะเข้ามหาวิทยาลัย
ที่มีหลักสูตรสอนวิชาโฆษณา แต่ปัญหาติดอยู่ที่ ไม่มีวุฒิมัธยมปลายค่ะ
ก็จะทำให้ไม่มีสิทธิสมัครสอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยที่สมัยก่อนเรียกว่าสอบเอ็นทรานซ์
(เด็กรุ่นใหม่อ่านคงงงว่าป้าพูดถึงอะไรอยู่ อิอิ)

ไม่ใช่เพราะไม่รู้ว่าการไปเรียนที่โรงเรียนวิชาชีพแห่งหนึ่งนั้น
จะทำให้เราไม่ได้วุฒิมัธยมปลาย
แต่เรายังเลือกที่จะไปเรียนที่โรงเรียนนั้น
เพราะว่าอยากพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ (หมั่นไส้ตัวเองเบาๆ ฮ่าฮ่า)
โรงเรียนนั้นเป็นโรงเรียนเดียวในยุคนั้นที่ไม่เพียงสอนทุกวิชาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ
แต่ยังไม่อนุญาตให้นักเรียน พูดภาษาไทยในบริเวณโรงเรียนด้วยค่ะ
เวลาที่คุยกับเพื่อนนอกห้องก็ต้องคุยภาษาอังกฤษ
นั่นก็หมายถึงโอกาสที่ดีในการฝึกภาษา
แต่มาจนป่านนี้ภาษาอังกฤษก็ยังไม่ได้ดีเลิศอย่างที่ฝันนะคะ ฮ่าฮ่า

อย่างไรก็ดีการไม่มีวุฒิก็ไม่ทำให้ถอดใจค่ะ
สิ่งที่ทำในตอนนั้นคือไปสอบเทียบวุฒิเอาค่ะ
และในที่สุดก็ได้วุฒิและสอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยในฝัน ได้เรียนคณะในฝันจริงๆ
พอเรียนจบก็ได้งานโฆษณา และก็คิดว่าเราควรมีอาชีพสำรองไว้เผื่อต้องออกจากงาน
จะได้มีอะไรเขียนเป็นอาชีพได้ และอาชีพที่นึกถึงก็คือ อาชีพเขียนบทค่ะ

อยากได้อยากเป็นก็ต้องสู้ค่ะ ไม่มีเส้นสายก็อาศัยการประกวดค่ะ
พอดีว่าช่วงนั้นมีช่องทีวีช่องหนึ่ง ประกวดเฟ้นหาคนเขียนบทรุ่นใหม่
ก็เลยส่งงานไปประกวดดู ผ่านรอบแรก ต้องเขียนรอบสอง และรอบสาม
คัดเลือกอย่างเข้มข้นอยู่สามรอบ
ในที่สุดก็ได้รับการคัดเลือกและเซ็นสัญญากับช่องเป็นเวลา 5 ปี

แหมๆ เรื่องราวฟังดูดี อะไรๆ ก็ดูดี แต่...

แต่มีผู้จัดละครไม่มากนักหรอกค่ะ ที่กล้าเสี่ยงกับนักเขียนหน้าใหม่
ตรงนี้เราก็เข้าใจ เพราะงบประมาณในการผลิตละครแต่ละเรื่องก็ไม่ใช่น้อย
ดังนั้นบริษัทผู้จัดผู้ผลิตละครก็อยากใช้นักเขียนที่มีประสบการณ์และคุ้นเคยมากกว่า
แต่ก็ต้องถือว่ายังเป็นคนโชคดีอยู่
เพราะก็มีคนให้โอกาสอยู่อย่างสม่ำเสมอค่ะมากบ้างน้อยบ้างตามจังหวะ

หลังจากแต่งงานก็ย้ายไปเปิดร้านกาแฟและเบเกอรี่ที่เชียงใหม่ อย่างที่เคยเล่าไปแล้วในบล็อกที่ผ่านมา
ว่าเจอปัญหาสุดคลาสสิกคือการมีปัญหากับเจ้าของที่
ก็เลยปิดร้านและกลับมากรุงเทพฯ
เพื่อทำงานโฆษณาตามคำชักชวนของเจ้านายเก่าอีกครั้ง

พยายามวิ่งตามโลกเสมอ

ถึงแม้ว่างานการตอนนี้ทุกอย่างเข้ารูปเข้ารอยแต่เราก็รู้ดีว่าโลกหมุนเปลี่ยนไปเร็วแค่ไหน
ในแวดวงการสื่อสารและการโฆษณาก็เช่นกันค่ะ
ก็เลยต้องคอยศึกษาว่าจะชนะใจผู้บริโภคยุคดิจิตัลได้อย่างไร

ตรงนี้เองที่ทำให้ได้เจอบทความเกี่ยวกับ Steemit

รู้สึกว่ามันยอดมาก ช้าไม่ได้แล้วรีบหาข้อมูลและสมัครทันที
แต่รออยู่เป็นเดือนสองเดือนได้ก็ไม่มีเมลตอบรับมา
ตอนนั้นเลยคิดว่า Steemit คงมีคนมากแล้วและอาจจะเริ่มจำกัดคน
แต่ตัวตนนักสู้อีกฝ่ายของตัวเองก็ตะโกนดังๆ ว่าอย่ายอมแพ้ง่ายๆ นะ
ดังนั้นก็เลยลองสมัครอีกรอบด้วยอีเมลอื่นและก็ได้เข้ามาเล่น Steemit สมใจค่ะ

แล้วก็รีบเข้ามาเขียนโพสต์แรกที่บอกว่าต้องมีการแนะนำตัวเองก็เขียนอะไรสั้นๆ ไม่ได้เล่าอะไรมากมาย
ไม่ค่อยเป็นการแนะนำตัวเองเองเท่าไร วันนี้ก็เลยขอทำบล็อกแนะนำตัวเองอย่างเป็นทางการนี่ล่ะค่ะ

รู้จักให้ก่อนที่จะรับ

ชอบ Steemit ที่ออกแบบให้ผู้คนได้รู้จักให้ก่อนที่จะรับ
ถ้าเราเป็นผู้ให้กับชุมชนก่อน เราก็จะได้รับมันกลับมา ซึ่งอาจจะมากกว่าที่คาดไว้ด้วยซ้ำ

จะให้อะไรกับชุมชน Steemit

ถึงแม้ว่าจะไม่ได้เป็นคนเก่งอะไรมากมาย
แต่คิดว่าด้วยใจสู้และประสบการณ์การทำงานที่ผ่านมา
คิดว่าน่าจะช่วยให้ตัวเองทำบล็อกที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เพื่อนๆ ได้ไม่มากก็น้อย

บล็อกที่อยากเขียนก็น่าจะเป็นเป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับ แรงบันดาลใจในชีวิต, Steemit, อาหารการกิน ขนมนมเนย,
ร้านอาหารดีๆ หรือทริปประทับใจ, ความรู้เกี่ยวกับเรื่องงานถ้ามีใครสนใจอยากรู้ค่ะ และอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย
ที่ยังคิดไม่ออกในตอนนี้ค่ะ
