From Bitcoin to Bitshares

Greetings fellow Steemers! It is summertime here, and my August has been very busy so far! Bitcoin has been busy this month too as it has already forked into two coins and then traded up through $4,000 USD per Bitcoin and the month isn't even half over yet!

My account name is buy-bitcoin which should tell you that I believe in the future of Bitcoin! I am looking forward to reading about cryptocurrencies on Steemit as well as sharing my own views from time to time. I actually discovered Steemit by watching the STEEM:BTS chart on the BitShares DEX.

So my account on the BitShares exchange is also buy-bitcoin. I am advocating for BitShares as a fast platform for trading crypto. My website is a little behind schedule but the first iteration is up at http://buybts.com with SSL and some API features planned by the end of the year. I plan to add price quotes for more coins too, in addition to the killer app i envision: to easily buy bitcoin and sell your bitcoin via the BitShares DEX.

I’ve been hard at work getting my laptop configured and looking to fill positions on the team for some additional communications or analyst hires once Spark funds.

Speaking of the Spark ICO, there isn't one! Spark coins were pre-mined and are used to buy subscription units in the Sparkbot Sensor Project. There are still openings for charter subscription units for any crypto traders who are interested. Sparkbot also aims to assist long term hodlers by identifying good buy points, for example.

So what makes me think that I can predict prices? The answer is that i simply cannot predict prices, but I can make calculated bets on where I think prices will be in the future! I have some incredible trading experience and have spent a considerable amount of time honing my craft into the algos used by Sparkbot. I’m currently thinking that we will want Sparkbot to run at least four or five algos for selling environments as well as the four or five in the current bull market for cryptocoins.

More and more cryptochains are emerging, and that is a good thing. I will go into the comparisons later, but I believe that new coins like Neo could become more popular than Bitcoin through continuing improvements with smart contract chains. It’s worth getting some insight into the importance of Bitcoin and how it relates to other cryptocurrencies such as Neo and EOS.

Beyond the hype and the hash rate, and between the ups and downs of individual cryptocoin prices, the new world of digital money is growing as more and more of the digital coin is transacted by more and more participants worldwide. This financial reformation will ride the network effect to bring us everything from spontaneous peer to peer transactions to walled gardens of commerce.

As the road rises up to meet us we know that someday we will look back on these times and remember the dawn of the digital money renaissance.
