Introduction & Simple Crypto Price Forecaster
Hello Steemit!
This is my first post. Love everything about this community and look forward to contributing.
Quick background--I'm a finance and data guy by profession so I enjoy gathering numbers and making spreadsheets. As you'll see in my future posts, spreadsheets/charts are my hammer and almost everything looks like a nail to me.
CRYPTO PRICE FORECASTER v0.1
It's been a wild year for cryptos and future predictions are even more wild. Depending on who you talk to, the predictions can range from a total collapse of cryptos to it going to the moon and becoming a multi-trillion dollar asset class...next week! But for most of us, we're probably somewhere in between these extremes.
And there's no need to argue about who is right or wrong, we'll all find out soon enough!
So make your own guess with this simple forecaster that takes 3 input assumptions and will allow you to estimate the future price of any cryptocurrency:
- Total Cryptocurrency Market Cap
- The Target Coins Market Share
- The Then Circulating Supply of Tokens/Coins for That Crypto (I've included the currently supply of the top 100 so you'd only need to make an supply inflation assumption)

Download it. Play with it. Let me know what you think. It's version 0.1 and I welcome your recommendations to make it more useful. Sorry to non US folks for using USD, it was just the most convenient to use.
Lastly, all of the current assumptions in there are just DUMMY VARIABLES. Make sure you input your own assumptions to use it.
Cheers,
Braintoots
P.S. What is your Total Market Cap by Date prediction?
