Hi all Steemitian,

I am Atin, a new member of Steemit community. First of all I thankful to @whiteblood, because she eased on down the steps to let me in and invited me to take the opportunity as a Steemitian.I also work with mylikes.Now I found a new challenge in my life as a form of steemit.com

First of all I would like to introduce myself before creating the content.
Presently I am working in an IT company and my passion is Travel. I love to travel around the world and meeting with new people, new places and traditions help people broaden the horizons. It breaks the monotony of life and work.Travel defines a lots of thing...From Its rain forest to mighty Himalayas....From its pristine islands to its mysterious ancient tribes who continue their story even today.....From its rich jungle safari to adventures island.

A few years ago I started my journey to Sikkim,a place I've always wanted to visit since I was very young.
So our Journey started with most dangerous roads ....

Finally reach the base town of Himalayas...Gangtok...The cleanest town i have ever seen...

Night stays in the Town is just awesome...next day our journey started to Lachung, a another hill station ...

Finally reaching there in the evening and in freezing temperatures ,i just freezed...staying in the home stays just as simple...

Aunty's hand made food is just delicious ...no question about that...

Next Morning our journey started to Yangtham...changu...but our car got stucked by freezing temperatures...here i show you how will we started our vehicle just see..u amazed...

Actually we reached here in the night so we could not see our rest house....the next day when sun rise i just amazed

After some hurdles we finally reached our destination...

Then our journey started to another destination and i.e.Changu lake...The sacred Lake... with same Dangerous roads..

On the way of Changu Lake another sacred place is there and i.e Baba Mandir a interesting story behind it....Ghost Of Baba Harbhajan Singh That Guards India’s Border-The Hero of Nathula Pass...

The Nathula Pass on the Indo-China border in the state of Sikkim is a strategically important location for the Indian Army. Blocked by snow in the winters, it is one of the four Border Personnel Meeting points for the Indian and Chinese armies.What you may not know, is that the pass is guarded by the ghost of one Baba Harbhajan Singh. Late Sepoy Harbhajan Singh (23 Punjab) was born in a village in Kapurthala District and enrolled into the Punjab Regiment. Serving with his unit in Sikkim in 1968, he passed away on October 4 that year while escorting a mule column from Tuku La to Dongchui La.He slipped and fell in a nullah and the water current carried his body two kilometers downstream. His body is said to have been found three days later and cremated with full military honours. He is said to have appeared in the dreams of his fellow soldiers and asked them to build a ‘samadhi’ for him. His unit did so 9 km from where the present shrine stands.Units of the Indian Army that are posted in the region, seek Baba’s blessing with various plates dedicated to him lining the shrine’s walls. They also believe that Baba will warn them of an impending attack days in advance. The Army even promoted him to an Honorary Captain and a paycheck was sent to his family. He was also granted an annual leave on 14 September every year. His belongings were packed and accompanied by soldiers, were sent to Kapurthala by train and brought back the same way. This was done annually till he was retired a few years ago.People and soldiers passing through make it a point to pay their respects at the shrine. Clearly faith is stronger than anything else here.
