Block Therapist, Psychologist on the Block(chain)

I am Dr. Zachary Moran, a licensed clinical psychologist excited to join this burgeoning community. Like this platform, my passions are diverse and decentralized. At any given moment you might find me pondering on improving the human condition, the beauty of music and art, the nature of consciousness and divinity, or the curious potency of a fart in a shower stall. I hold to the belief, as stated by Thomas Merton, that "everything that is is holy."

As a professional with a decidedly counter-culture streak, I both intensely love the work I do with people and loathe the limiting circumstances under which that work occurs: provision of service at the mercy of insurance companies; promotion of health within an infrastructure that perpetuates sickness; desire for freedom where many are enslaved (e.g., by economic oppression); relief of suffering where many believe suffering = character defect.

Enter the age of the blockchain!! Could decentralization let us do the things we do best (and make a fair living at it) in a way that is more free and joyful than before? Is there a place for a psychologist out here? I hope so, and I hope to meet others with ideas for where or how I might best fit.
