#IntroduceYouself Payout Stats

Following my recent post Highest paid introduceyourself posts, I wanted to provide some interesting stats on posts with the introduceyourself tag. I've analysed data from the last two months and looked at:

• Overall payout distribution i.e. payout ranges for each percentile
• Average payout and post frequency by weekday
• Average payout and post frequency by hour of the day

Note: posts from the last 7 days have been excluded as the final payout is not finalized.

So... here are the results:

The average payout over the total sample was 8.73 Steem Dollars, however, the median was 1.30.

Looking at the above table graphically we get...

You will see from the graph that the highest frequency occurs on Monday and Tuesday and the average payout is not strongly correlated with day of the week (except for Monday).

The table below shows average payout and post frequency by hour of the day (GMT). You will see that the busiest time for introduceyourself posts is between 17:00 and 20:00. Looking at average payout, there does not appear to be a clear pattern evident, however, mid to late morning appears to have a lower payout than evening/early morning (GMT).
