Introducing myself
This will probably be obviously amateur. Not Only is this my cherry post on steemit, I haven't face booked in years, so Im not really used to posting things. So Here goes.
Hello Everyone, I am an air conditioning contractor, father, and husband from north carolina. I actually have a lot to possibly add to the community once i figure out the ropes. Im 36 years old. Into many things throughout life. I can offer advice on many topics ranging from the apparent heating and air and other electrical projects, to carpentry, small engine repair, to tree removal and use of pulleys. I like to figure out new ways of doing things, especially in natural health.
Im looking forward to being a steemian.
Thanks to all who i call friend now and forever.
Welcome to steemit society

Welcome to steemit!
I am a bot built for the purposes of welcoming new users! You are receiving this message as you have used the #introduceyourself tag! I know that steemit may seem very overwhelming to you right now but don't worry. There's a learning curve to everything so just be patient and you'll be churning out posts and becoming a part of something great in no time!
Also if there are any questions that you may have, then just ask your questions on any of my blog posts and I'll be more than happy to assist you with whatever questions you may have! I will also be creating a basic starting out guide for all minnows and newcomers on my blog so do give it a read as that might help answer many of your questions!
Have fun and I wish you LOADS of success on here! :)
Also. you can call upon originalworks whenever something you post is your own content like this: @originalworks

Very nice to meet you, Welcome aboard!
Nice to meet you as well.
Welcome @barleypop. Great handle by the way. I started a few months back, a few years older and yes I did not have much appreciation for anti-social media either. I got involved here and holy cow it's a polar opposite. I am from Iowa, I have yet to visit with someone from my home state, let alone town or neighborhood, that often happens in the eventual Facebook segregation phenomena, where the longer you are there the more you chat with people who are just like you and get no perspective on things across the country, let alone across the world as you do on here. I would recommend visiting @greetersguild, commenting on their most recent post, say hi or something, tell them I sent you (@cryptkeeper17) and leave a link to this post. I like the chances of it getting upvoted and commented by my fellows there that help the newest members of the platform grow on here in many ways.
I will check it out. Thanks.
Welcome to Steemit. Nice first post and introduction. I have advice for you. Write quality and interesting post, but first learn how to write and check how others write posts. On begining comment post which are interested to you. Try it and you will earn some STD. Just remember you need to write quality comments. If you want you can follow me and upwote some of my post or comments. Have a nice time on Steemit.
Appreciate the advice.
You definitely don't want to earn any STD!
for sure!! Nice catch
@barleypop, welcome aboard man! Sounds like you bring some really unique talents to the proverbial table. Be consistent and diligent and you'll be fine. Cheers!
much appreciated
Welcome to steemit barleypop :) you said you can offer advice about air conditiong, i was just wondering, sometimes i think a gopher or something dies either in or near the vents because about 2 or 3 times a year in the summer i can smell a dead animal coming in from my vents and itll lat for about 2 days. How is the smell coming into my vents? because i wouldnt think they could get into the vents but idk
Gladly,
Its most likely a mouse. is there any difference between heating and cooling with frequency and duration of the smell. also what type of heat do you have.
Welcome! I love North Carolina. I look forward to hearing more about life there. Thank you for breaking your social media fast here on steemit.
Thx, I have High hopes.
