OMG, I'm getting paid to invest in the SteemIt community?!!
Want to talk about a seriously sweet gig?
I'm being funded by D161T4L W15D0M
to investigate SteemIt by starting as a new user and seeing how much SteemPower I can accumulate in one month.
They've pretty much given me free rein within the following guidelines:
- be relentlessly pro-community and anti-parasite
- post one daily top-level post as a representative of the Digital Wisdom group
- become an active member of the tool- and bot-building communities to scope out opportunities
- assist other members of the Digital Wisdom group in growing their accounts and influence
- have fun and be myself
I also get to keep my account at the end
So . . . . what am I going to do? I'm planning to be very intentional about:
- creating awesome new content
- making a lot of new friends (and cozying up to some whales)
- figuring out what tools can be quickly created to make everyone's life better
- providing an INDEX to all of my adventures (so y'all can read and up-vote them all )
It's almost 5:00 (and I've spent virtually the whole day exploring) so I've got to get this posted. Hopefully a bunch of you will be interested in forming an adventuring party with me so that we can go viral together. I can definitively promise that I'll be spending more time and effort than anyone who isn't full-time -- and that I believe that I can get a substantial amount of SteemPower going by the end of the month (Should I start a betting pool as to how much I'll have? Is that legal here?)
Who wants to join me and offer advice as to what should I do first?
wellcome
Would you please post a selfie holding a piece of paper with your steemit account name and the date? (Otherwise your "introduceyourself" post is unlikely to get much traction. We have have had instances of false identification.
Nice to have you around!
Here are some tips if you're not aware of already:

onlyAugust, here you have a friend. I'm new in this too, so joining forces, could be better for the two. You win, I win, Steem community win. Everyone wins hahahahaha. Good luck :-)
Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 9.5 and reading ease of 72%. This puts the writing level on par with Michael Crichton and Mitt Romney.
Oooh! Nice bot! Care to share notes with a newbie some time?
