Just Another Nerd With A Dream: An Introduction post to Ismay / aTeacupGamer
Hello out there...
...and welcome to a poorly constructed introduction post from someone who has no clue what they're doing.
I'm Ismay, known across the internet as aTeacupGamer. I'm 23, Scottish, and a provider of games-based entertainment.
The Content
Primarily I'm known to stream games every day from 3pm GMT on my Twitch channel of (surprisingly) aTeacupGamer or uploading the content later onto youtube at (annoyingly) TeacupGamer. The coming and going of that first "a" is the bane of my existence.
However, as of this year, I've ventured into the world of podcasting, having debuted my D&D-based show "Crit Chat" where a rotating cast of Dungeon Masters get together and talk about the finer points of creating and running a game of Dungeons and Dragons... and only getting distracted 80% of the time.
The Dream
On a less formal and more personal note; I'm just another nerd with the dream of earning a living doing what I love most. Having suffered a variety of mental illnesses throughout my life, I would like to say that I'm finally done with not believing in myself and what I'm capable of.
So this is my attempt at selling what I got: I'm terrible at games, but I'm funny so fuck it. I have very little filter, but I try and use that for good. And I'm an american-accented scottish loudmouth, who is passionate to a fault.
So, hopefully I'll see you around. And hopefully you'll enjoy that!

Well, thank you! I'm a full-time games nerd, so I've played a wide stretch of games! From tabletop games, to computer games I end up tattooing on myself!

I never got into Sonic, myself! But I'm a sucker for Mario and strategy. I have sunk more time into Civilization than is healthy!
It might be a little healthy if you're sharing the experience with others and having fun and stuff. Was really addicted to War Craft in like 2011.
Ooooh I had friends that were addicted as hell to War Craft! I've gone back to my roots recently and I'm back playing the updated version of Runescape; the game that ate my childhood!
What is Runescape like? Sounds interesting.
So old, so polygonal, and so much nostalgia!
It's basically a skill development game. Think of a smaller-scale WoW!
