Introduction Proper

Hello hello hello, dear steemians! I've been around for about a week already. Eventually, after a lot of reading and observing, it then came to my attention that I in my first introductory post right here at My link, I haven't really actually verified myself like others have done and I also did not wrote more about "me". It was more of a "let's give it a try and see what happens" kinda intro post and merely an overview of my life story. So I decided to remake it!

Please allow me to properly re-introduce myself.

Hi! Hello again! My name is Arlene, a degree holder of Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness form the Visayas State University. I am from Baybay Leyte but is currently residing at Cebu with my family.

A few months ago, Steemit was introduced to me by the very gorgeous @thegaillery and after having a look at It I kind of really loved the atmosphere on this platform and the fact that everyone can openly talk about what they want without any judgement. I got interested in the community and thought why not give it a go, so I decided to finally sign up.

So let us talk about..

"My Passion for Music"

I love to sing. I love music. I love everything about it. I love performing on stage and make people listen.

Performing live actually thrills me.
Just get me a stage, get me a mic,
and I'm going to be happy!

Back in year 2015, when I was nominated by our department head and college dean to represent our college, the College of Management and Economics, by joining the Blind Audition for The Voice of VSU during the University Anniv.

Surprisingly I got in! Despite of the very late announcement and everything being rushed.

And then there's me.. as one of the top finalist! Haha Reminiscing the good old days.

I was also one of the member and a scholar of the Univerity's one and only Visayas State Univerity Chorale Ensemble. We represent our University to every competition we've been to. I've lost count already.

They have been my family ever since I step foot at VSU, my beloved alma mater. A group of beautiful people with beautiful soul and the most beautiful voices too!

I am also a freelance vocalist. I use my passion in singing to earn and at the same time I get do the thing I love.

Aside from singing I was also trained to play some musical instruments as I specialized music when I Thankswas in highschool because I was an SPA student. Abbreviation for *Special Program in The Arts.

My classmate's mom took this photo of me durimg our recital back in highschool. Haha It's all blurred up thanks to her anyway. This brings back memories.

"Other Things I Love"

I love make-ups, doing skin-care routine, I love doing DIYs like birthday decor ideas and stuff. (I even made my baby's first prebirthday photoshoot/cakesmash!) I love milk. I love everything in pastel, I love soft things. I am an "Oh look at the moon" kind of person.

Another thing I love the most is my little one! She gives me courage, strength and happiness every single day.

"About My Blogs"

I’m mostly gonna post about stuff that happens around me. A bit more of my hopefully-getting-better photography, some of my stories, my fashion, lifestyle, the crazy things I see from time to time, maybe post some good song covers soon and some inspirational stuff here and there, kinda like one of my other posts. You know, wherever my heart leads.
