Hello Steemians, this is Anixio speaking

Hello to everyone!

Even though I'm a part of Steemit community for a month, this is my very first post.

As every "first" in life, it takes some courage. "It's really not a biggie", experienced Steemians might say, but take into account that I'm a simple, plain engineer. Writing and promotions of the posts are... well for me - like a rocket science for marketing experts. 

But apart from being more on a technical side I'm also very curious, love to be informed and, honestly, kind of intrigued by the concept of Steemit community. Why is that so? Numerous reasons. Maybe to start with the basis, I come from Croatia, a tiny little country that throughout last few years made a big boom mainly 'cause of world famous festivals like ULTRA and TV shows like GoT. Croatia is post socialistic country and even my generation has been raised with principals like "one work for a lifetime". The percentage of entrepreneurs, even nowadays, is less than 4% and majority of citizens lives on a credit. It's simply kind of a heritage for nation that passes on from generation to generation. 

But the fact that nowadays we witness (or even better - actively live) the modern concept where each person that has a PC and internet connection is equipped with resources to make some good cash and have a hell of a fun doing it - is super exciting! Whether it is vlogging (you can find instructions for every damn thing on youtube, even how to take a pee in a proper manly way), selling your long forgotten toys on ebay to a buyer from the other corner of the world or mining crypto currencies... Whatever the hell is your area of interest, invest some time in research and money starts raining. At least that's what they told me!
