My name is Zaki! Nice to meet you!

Hello, Steemit friends!

My name is Zacchi Anezka, while friends call me Zaki. I am 10 years old (turning 11 this June), and currently in Grade 4. I am a big sister to my Zia Anika (I’m sure you’ve noticed the pattern on our names by now). I dream to be in Japan with my BFF, Laurice. I am an introvert like my Mommy and an anime fan like my Dadda. I love kawaii stuff and am a proud Filipino.

I want to be a Pediatrician or an English teacher like my mommy someday, but in a school setting. Maybe in Japan? Well, I sure do hope so. It is free to dream anyway. The reason why is because I like helping people -- a doctor to help sick babies and children, and an English teacher to help people learn to speak the language. But I know I should work hard, as I always tell my parents; that I will do good in my studies to make it easier for me to reach my dreams.

Hobbies

I love photography. I would always go with my Dadda to photography and blogging events every chance I get. I also love reading. Since my parents don't buy me toys anymore (but still wish they would, especially Littlest Pet Shop), I usually go for books now and they'd gladly oblige. I own reprinted copies of the classics Pride and Prejudice and White Fang, and some parts of the Dork Diaries, to name a few. I am currently working my way into getting the new book, Wonder, because I loved the movie so much.

But my favorite hobby is writing fanfic stories, either anime or non-anime inspired, that is usually about love triangles among friends, I also write stories about me and my BFF Laurice studying in Japan someday. I don’t know why but I get so fascinated with my characters centered around the feelings of jealousy and unrequited love.

I started writing when I transferred to a new school (the current one) and met my best friend, Laurice. We have so much in common, but sometimes also, we’re complete opposites. I learned to like the anime, FairyTail, early on even before I knew she liked it, too. A few months later, we made different types of stories based on the anime storyline that we love so much. I just love doing things with her because I feel comfortable being around her.

My Family

My family is average, but am surrounded with wisdom, love, understanding and so much fun. I always tell my friends that I am a good mix of both my Dadda and Mommy -- strong like mommy and gentle like dadda.

Yes, you read that right. They’re not the typical man-woman pair. Dadda is more feminine, while my mommy, more of the masculine side. I don’t find that odd because I am already used to it and they seem to work it out so well. They would argue even for the littlest things, but they always kiss and make up eventually.

And who would forget my cute, chubbylita sister, Zia, who is the center of our love and attention. She's one brave little munchkin, who was so eager to meet all of us (and the outside world) at 8 months! But, with Papa God's grace, she turned out just fine. I just couldn't bare the thought of being away from her even for just a second.

Just like any family, we're not a perfect bunch with lots of bumps here and there. But amidst the noise and chaos, no family can ever replace mine.
