My name is Patrick Bird, I'm pissed off and lost after the election, and my rage, equal with understanding, is aimed at everyone.
The "Liberal" media created Donald Trump from ashes, and "Progressive" voters got the most dangerous human to ever grace the office voted in as President of the United States. You cannot blame racism. You cannot blame apathy. You cannot blame people or color, or Hispanics, or white women. Neither can I.
I admit that many things I believed about this country were dead wrong. The truth is, I'm not the only one. If you are willing to admit to yourself as a progressive that you too were wrong, then I believe this is the feed for you. I'm going to examine some of what I believe may have allowed this to occur, and what it all really means as we move closer to Inauguration Day. We'll be learning about:
- The so-called "regressive" left and how certain aspects of leftist internet presence has had negative effects on the overall movement
- The politics of resentment, the steadfast American dedication to spite, and the dynamics that swing Americans back and forth between the two political extremes
- Election and campaign finance law, along with information on how to run for elections in certain states and races
- How the left and the right must find a way to meet in the middle, and ways I think we can accomplish that to start
I hope you'll check in and keep active, enraged, and more informed than ever.
