Hello for the first time, fellow steemers!
How do you do? I'm Amalia.
As the much appreciated Steemit's "Welcome" page recommends, I am now posting my very first publication to introduce myself to anyone interested in the content I will now be posting from now on.
My full name is Amalia Chaviel, which is actually my username, so you may already now that. I'm 21, born, raised and still living in Venezuela while currently doing my third year in Architecture School for an -you guessed it- Architecture degree. While I adore all the aspects of my career (minus the constant all-nighters I have to pull to get stuff done, but that's on me), I have a huge inclination towards history of architecture studies, and the way social behaviors in the collective has shaped how we live. I find that incredibly interesting, and awesome. As arts as a whole and architecture are inherently connected, this same behaviors make us see the way things are in diverse forms, providing a million ways to express them. That being said, I find great satisfaction in finding these connections between reality and imagination, and the symbiotic relationship between the two.
However, I won't actually bore you with extensive analysis on such matters, since I'm pretty sure I lack the knowledge and the brains and guts maybe to post that kind of content, so my actual goal of being here is finding that link between MY reality and any imaginative content that surrounds me, and thus, shapes the way I exist as a person, and actually as we all are as people. I assure you, I will be way less formal than this lengthy introduction, way more messy, but with every intention to connect with anyone interested.
I'm a simple person, really. I adore cats, good tv series and hanging out with people I like, even if I look dead on the outside. I love being passionate about things, so I try to give my 100% to any aspect of my life that needs motivation, even if I procrastinate my way out of most of it, sue me. And I feel too much. I guess we all feel the same amount of feelings, so there's really no way for me to say such things, but being as sensitive as me makes you believe that perhaps something is wrong with you, even, if this over-sensitiveness gave me the motivation to start this little project I have in mind.
