Arpoador



Arpoador means the harpoon thrower, in English. It is a beach landmark in Brazil, located at Rio de Janeiro and it is a district which is partly Ipanema and partly Copacobana. The place is a surfer’s haven. It is one of the most recommended places to visit in Brazil.

One of the most common activities in the area, apart from swimming and basking under the sun and lying on the white sand beach, is to surf the cool waves of Arpoador.
