This is not accurate. There is a bot called @cheetah which will read your post and do some internet search to find matches. If it finds them, it will give the post a small upvote and make a comment there.
Then human curators, including those who control Steemcleaners, can then make a decision on whether the post is really plagiarism and take action if needed.

I'm not sure what post are you talking about, but if you don't own the picture then you must give a link to the source giving credit.

Wow, that is definitely helpful to know. Actually I'm glad that this is a thing. I mean, I see content get stolen and uploaded on facebook all the time, and the offending poster will often crop out the water mark if visible. Good to see that won't be the case here.

Actually, you can post that copy paste info, but always cited the source. Never claimed that it looks like yours.. But posting your own is the best!
I am just afraid that the source that i cited is also taking from the other. .
That bot will detect the exact copy from where the file is coming.. I just dont know what will happen if the site you were reffering is not the original.
